The Enneagram In You: Beyond Knowing Your Type to Unleashing Your Gifts to the Fullest

Coen Tan
Singapore · Certified Speaking Professional/ Founder, Ministry of Influence Lte Ltd

What this session covers

Most people learn Enneagram the same way – Take the test, learn our type, and file it away as another profiling tool.

Then two things happen.

First, we start introducing ourselves by our flaws: “I’m a Six, I worry too much.” “I’m an Eight, I’m too much for people.”

Second, we start using the types to read others so that we can react accordingly. That’s coming close to the line of manipulation, and trust is compromised. It also takes so much mental energy that it becomes tiring, and eventually, we ditch the Enneagram altogether.

But there’s a better way. What if we used it as a frame for curiosity?

As a highly sensitive person and natural empath, Coen Tan found in the Enneagram far more than a personality label. He found a user manual for life: a way to understand his own reactions, stay aligned with himself when others triggered him, and meet people with curiosity instead of judgment.

Drawing on twelve years of teaching the Enneagram to thousands of learners, and a strengths-based lens shaped by positive psychology, this keynote invites leaders to treat the Enneagram as a GPS for daily life and leadership.

Every type, and the strengths of all nine, already lives within you. The inner work of an aligned leader is learning to draw on that full range, and to honour the motivations of others without excusing their behaviour. Teams feel empowered when their leaders can truly see them.

Beyond Type: Awakening the Heart and Mind of Leadership

Dr. Khaled ElSherbini
Egypt · Founder & Chairman, Consciousness Academy

What this session covers

The Enneagram offers a profound map of personality, revealing the patterns through which we perceive, react, relate, and lead. Yet knowing our type is only the beginning. Genuine transformation asks a deeper question: What happens as the person behind the type develops and awakens?

In Beyond Type: Awakening the Heart and Mind of Leadership, Dr. Khaled ElSherbini introduces an integral perspective that brings together three dimensions of inner work: the Enneagram as a map of personality, the developmental growth of the Mind, and the psycho-spiritual awakening of the Heart.

Leadership requires more than competence, personality awareness, or emotional intelligence. It requires the capacity to hold complexity without fragmentation, exercise power without being governed by ego, remain grounded under uncertainty, relate beyond habitual defenses, and act from an increasingly integrated inner center.

Drawing upon the Stages of the Heart framework, this experiential presentation explores how Enneagram patterns can be understood within a larger journey of human development, from personality awareness toward greater presence, wisdom, compassion, and conscious action. Participants will be invited to examine not only how they lead because of their type, but also from where within themselves they are leading.

Meaning Load: Restoring Leadership Choice

Tang Seok Hian
Singapore · Director/Founder, IKIGAI Consultancy Services Pte Ltd

What this session covers

Leaders do not react to events alone. They react to what those events have come to mean. A missed deadline, a challenge in a meeting, or a team member’s silence may appear straightforward, yet each can carry a different psychological weight depending on the leader’s Enneagram pattern.

This session introduces Meaning Load as the weight a situation carries when something about the leader’s worth, identity, safety, belonging, competence, responsibility, or control feels at stake. Using the Enneagram as a map of habitual meaning-making under pressure, participants will explore why the same event can produce nine different interpretations, nine different reactions, and nine different impacts on a team.

The session invites leaders to move beyond knowing their type toward understanding what their type is trying to protect. When leaders can hold meaning without being ruled by it, they recover choice. When leaders recover choice, teams gain more room to speak, contribute, and act with agency.

What this session covers

Former Stanford Law attorney turned Unity minister and international Enneagram presenter Rev. The Power of Leading from Your Being

Cindy Leong
Singapore · Founder, The Enneagram Academy & Relationship Studio

What this session covers

Leadership is often measured by what we do: our decisions, achievements, and results. Yet, true leadership begins not with what we do, but who we are being as we lead.

Beyond skills and strategies, every leader brings unconscious fears, motivations, and behavioural patterns that shape how we lead and relate to others. Without self-awareness, even our greatest strengths can become our biggest blind spots.

Drawing on the Enneagram, this session explores how understanding our inner world enables us to move from reactivity to intentional leadership, creating greater authenticity, trust, and team alignment.

Key Takeaways:

  1. Being Before Doing: How our inner world shapes leadership effectiveness.
  2. Leadership Autopilot: Recognising unconscious patterns through the Enneagram.
  3. Conscious Leadership: Moving from reactive behaviours to intentional responses.
  4. Transformation from Within: How transformed leaders cultivate healthier, more aligned teams.

The greatest leadership gift we bring is not what we know or do, but who we have become.

Fully Functional, As You Are: Activating our Innate Resilience with the Enneagram

R. Karl Hebenstreit, PhD, PCC, PHR
United States · Founder & CEO, Perform & Function

What this session covers

You are enough. That message gets lost or twisted when we encounter evidence where we have to “change.” We revert back to our childhood saboteurs that keep telling us that we are NOT enough. What if we approached change as something that adds to what we already are, through resources we already have (hidden deep inside us), rather than an expectation to become something totally different? In this engagement, participants will learn how to access ALL of the resources they have within them, awakening some that they didn’t even know existed, while they used their favorite others. This will show them how to step into their full potential, optimizing all of their strengths in becoming the human being they were meant to be, and reinforcing them that they are, indeed, “fully functional, as they are.”

The world is full-on VUCA and BANI – AND you have the resources to survive and thrive within it. We’ll explore a different way of looking at change and resilience, finding out how the Enneagram framework can be accessed and activated in its totality to reveal how you are already Fully Functional, As You Are to be able to deal with anything the universe presents to you. A walk through research on resilience and how the Enneagram can be used as a conduit to activate the dormant energies that are within each of us, to help us tap into under-utilized and lesser-accessed capabilities already within us to make us more resilient. A look at change from a positive psychology perspective, not as a trigger for feeling “not enough” and “less than” in needing to now be different to survive in the world.

Know Yourself, Lead Others: Holistic Leadership

Jensen Wee

What this session covers

This session explores the connection between the Enneagram and effective leadership through three key areas: Yourself, Your Team, and Your Practice. Through the Three Centers of Intelligence, participants will explore a more holistic approach to leadership before learning how to empower teams by embracing Enneagram diversity, fostering psychological safety, and building trust. The session also delves into the inner work of leadership, exploring the Enneagram lines of integration and confronting the hidden shadows of each personality type to encourage personal growth and transformation. More Than Their Types: Nurturing Self-Awareness, Conscious Choice and Leadership in the Next Generation

Nataliia Bolshakova
Egypt · President of Consciousness Academy, Consciousness Academy (Egypt)

What this session covers

What if leadership development begins much earlier than we usually think?

Long before young people enter organisations or take formal leadership roles, they are already forming ways of dealing with pressure, authority, achievement, conflict, relationships, and responsibility. The Enneagram gives us a powerful lens for seeing these emerging patterns, but only if we use it without turning teenagers into fixed “types.”

This session explores how the Enneagram can help us look beyond behaviour to the motivations underneath it, understand why different teenagers respond so differently to the same expectations or challenges, and recognise how early personality patterns may later shape the way they lead.

Through practical examples, reflection, and experiential activities, participants will examine familiar teenage situations through an Enneagram lens and consider how different patterns influence communication, reactions, decision-making, and relationships.

The focus is not on creating better types, but on nurturing greater self-awareness, flexibility, and conscious choice, capacities that may become the foundation for a more mature generation of leaders.
